Our hats are off to Jim McMurray and his team at United Country Stone Realty & Auction! They helped us raise about $14,000 at our first-ever fundraising auction!
Not only did Jim provide excellent auctioneers. He provided special pre-auction services of guidance, leadership, and prayers (when needed!)
We also want to thank WNTT, WLMU, Citizens Bank, and Stanifer Drugs for providing free advertising for this rip-snorter of an event.
Taz's BP donated gas cards to raffle and scrumptious hot dogs to sell at this most awesome auction of all times!
The Claiborne Progress for keeping us in the public eye!
And, of course, the people in this community who helped make the auction happen... the folks who donated such sellable stuff, the volunteers who contributed their time, expertise, and baked goods, and, naturally, those of you who attended the auction.
Construction on the shelter has resumed!
